So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. I went to high school with him and bowled with him for a couple of years until his illness forced him to stop. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly word. Thinking of your family during this difficult time.

My heart aches. I was stunned when Larry told me about his Illness diagnosis last spring. We still kept contact mostly via text(his choice) and got together here and there. I kept trying to reassure him that Just because he had this, I was no longer going to be his friend. I reminded him of something he once told me that I have always remembered> "You and I will always be friends. We have been, ever since that first day of training at HSBC Bank in January of 2012. For me, that will never change. I have fond memories to cling to, even to that last outing at the fair last summer. Even though he needed a little help here and there, I kept telling him it was not a big deal. I guess one regret i will have will be never getting the chance to visit the cabin and go fishing with him. Please know that all of us who got to know and care about Larry mourn with you. As long as any of us live, he lives on In our hearts and memories. I hope he's sitting out by the lake, rod and reel In hand, catching nothing but lunkers. Mark Waltman

My condolences to the Curtis families. I'm sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Lawrence. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
